Journal of Dental Research and Practice is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that focuses on publishing novel topics in the field of dentistry.

Manuscripts may take the form of case reports, critical reviews of the literature, brief commentaries, meeting reports, innovations in clinical practice, letters and drug clinical trial studies.

Focus and Scope

The aim of the Journal of Dental Research and Practice is to keep its readers informed of research, clinical developments ,clinical opinions and treatments as well as other key issues of relevance to dentistry .The objective of this journal is to stimulate interest, debate, discussion and interaction among dentists and specialists of all disciplines within the field of dentistry . Journal of Dental Research and Practice is published Quarterly and considers original research, systematic review, literature review, case report, and letters to editor for publication.

Peer Review Process

1. A submission is reviewed by four reviewers (one editor and three reviewers). Submissions are judged using specific criteria for different articles received (original research, literature review, case report, and letters to the editor).
2. The reviewers are selected from editorial board, associate editors, and advisory board. 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Scope of the Journal

The Journal of Dental Research specially welcomes studies pertaining to clinical dentistry, and all basic science aspects of physiology, microbiology, structure, chemistry, and developmental biology of relevant oral tissues. In addition, studies evaluating the use of new drugs, new diagnostic strategies and treatments for various kinds of oral and maxillofacial defects, and new biomaterials are also encouraged. Moreover, studies pertaining to psychological interventions, oral health care for the elderly, and improvement of disease treatment outcomes are also solicited.
